You will laugh, cry, and broaden your understanding of life’s possibilities as Eva shares riveting details about her delayed diagnosis and how she found the strength to persevere through the devastating effects of radical surgery and radiation. Turning adversity into opportunity, Eva illuminates how survivorship initiated her work as an activist and advocate for early detection. Eva’s eloquent and engaging speaking style transports dental professionals into the oral cancer patient’s mind and soul. You don’t just hear a story, you experience it. In contrast to the clinical perspective at educational conferences, Eva humanizes oral cancer with her compelling narrative, inspiring the audience both professionally and personally.
