Tobacco C.P.R.: How Dental Teams “Can Produce Results” in Helping the Tobacco Using Patient
Tobacco is the leading cause of lung cancer, COPD, heart disease, strokes, and various oral diseases. Through a unique multimedia presentation, on tobacco’s effects on oral and overall health, the dental team will become more knowledgeable on this subject and more comfortable working with their tobacco addicted patients. In addition, dental offices will be reinforcing the image of their dental practice as a caring team of professionals dedicated to improving the health of their patients through an understanding of oral and systemic relationships.

Biographical Information
Dr. Nevin Zablotsky received his dental degree and periodontal certificate from Tufts School of Dental Medicine. He has written lectures on tobacco for the Vermont State Dental Society, and an online C.E course for the ADA.
He speaks throughout the country and internationally, to various groups on the subject of addiction and the effects of tobacco on oral and overall health. He is a lecturer for the ADA Seminar Series, as well as an advocate for the American Cancer Society, winning their Vermont advocate of the year award in 2007, as well as a lifetime achievement award for the Special Olympics.
